How does shade matching work?

GlowMatch reads your skin tone from a photo, converts it to a precise color value, and finds the closest foundation shades across many brands — ranked by how well they match.

Is my photo stored?

On the website, your photo is analyzed in your browser and never uploaded. In the app, the image is used to compute your skin-tone profile and is stored only if you allow it — and it's permanently deleted when you delete your account.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, go to Profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, scans, saved looks, and alerts. To remove an email you submitted on the web, just email us.

What are discontinuation alerts?

Follow a shade you love, and GlowMatch will notify you if it's discontinued — along with the closest "rescue" matches from other brands so you're never left without your shade.
